As you already know, Sunday is celebrated throughout the Christian world as “Palm Sunday” in remembrance of when Jesus made what is called His “triumphal entry” into Jerusalem. So enthusiastic were the people in welcoming Him that crowds lined the streets, throwing flowers, and spreading their cloaks on the road as a carpet for Him. And following the traditional method of welcoming kings, they cut palm branches and waved them in the air before Him. Jesus began a journey that has so much power and purpose for us today.
This Sunday we are going to look at the story of Palm Sunday as we begin the led into the special events of Easter.
Looking forward to seeing you.
