We have all been in situations where we think that there is no hope for the situation that we are in. We have done everything we know to do and yet nothing happens; nothing changes. You might be going through something similar right now? Maybe it’s in your marriage or finances or you might be battling an illness. You might have a family member or a friend going through an unbearable struggle and you look at the situation and wonder if there is any
hope.
When Jesus heard about Lazarus’ sickness, he responded by saying, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son maybe glorified through it.” (John 11:4)
I want you to know that God has the power to change any situation. God’s delays are not necessarily his denials. While the outcome might not be what we want it to be, God’s name will be glorified in the end.
After all, Jesus didn’t stay dead. On the third day, He rose again and conquered sin and death. He died so that you and I could live. We see Jesus saying in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”
The resurrection is not an event – it’s a person. It’s Jesus Christ.
