Dear Church Family,
This Sunday we are starting a new series called “Forgotten God”.
In this series we are going to examine our need for the Holy Spirit. (The spirit of life… the essence of truth… the voice of God). He has always been here, and will always remain. And when we are alone, lost, and afraid, He will carry us home.
You might think that calling the Holy Spirit the “forgotten God” is a bit extreme. I don’t! I believe that there are times we have neglected knowing and embracing the Holy Spirit. It was not until I was 19 did I hear a message about the Holy Spirit. I know that we would not deny His existence but I believe there are people who cannot confidently say they have experienced His presence or action in their lives over the past year or years.
As we dive into this series have a think about this question to prepare your heart. Is having the Holy Spirit active in our lives an important part of our walk with Jesus Christ? Why?
On Sunday let’s explore the power and comfort of the one who resides within… The Holy Spirit.
I pray we will all be open to any answers that the Holy Spirit may lead us to as we dive into this topic.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Andrew
