On Sunday we celebrate Mother’s Day. This is the day that we remember the precious gift of our mums. We might make a phone call, visit in person, take out for a meal or even send some flowers. We are meant to buy that special something, maybe even go for the run at the Mother’s Day Classic or send that text message.
For new mum’s this can be an exciting day, for those who have lost their mum it can be a day of hard feelings. I have often heard Mum’s say that every day should be mother’s day. That one-day when they are celebrated and honored for the love they have shown and given over the years.
We all know that our mother’s love isn’t perfect. The Bible tells us that there’s only one love in the universe that has what it takes to transform our lives for the best. Romans 5:5 “We know how dearly God loves us because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.”
On Sunday you are all welcome to celebrate the great love of our mother’s and to remember the greatest love of all from Our God.
We are delighted to have Clayton Bjelan share with us about 5 things that are the same or similar about being a Mum and a Christian.
I look forward to seeing you there on Sunday.
