Acts continued

Dear Church Family,

acts2As Peter and John approached the temple to pray, they encountered a beggar at the gate asking for money. Peter wasn’t able to meet the man’s request but instead he stressed the much greater value of God’s healing and salvation over the value of money. The beggar didn’t ask to be healed, since he believed he was incurable; he only thought to ask for what he needed to survive. But Peter and John’s initiative demonstrate God’s sovereign grace and compassion.

While on earth Jesus was regularly approached by people asking for healing, and he healed them. The question is, can he do the same today? On Sunday we will explore this thought and others as well as we dive into Acts 3:1-10.

I pray we will be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we continue to dive into this book.

This week we get to celebrate with Brad and Ange Smit as they dedicate Levi.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Andrew
